About ECHO

ECHO Continues Its Leadership Role in the Industry

YAMABIKO Corporation is the parent company of the ECHO brand. The corporation was formed after the merger of Kioritz Corporation and Shindaiwa Corporporation in Japan.

Both companies have more than 50 years of experience in the professional outdoor power equipment machinery market. With the technical knowledge and experience from Kioritz, ECHO, and Shindaiwa, the merger created a solid corporate foundation which provides millions of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine products sold worldwide through authorized dealers.

ECHO Incorporated, in Lake Zurich, IL, is a subsidiary of YAMABIKO and serves not only as a distribution center for ECHO and Shindaiwa products in the Americas, but also is the largest assembly plant within the YAMABIKO group.

All ECHO products, with their high Japanese quality, have been available throughout Latin America and the Caribbean for 40 years. With the highest engineering standards and with manufacturing techniques patented both in Japan and the United States, ECHO will continue to serve a leadership role in the industry.
